Day One!

So I started this to keep track of progress with KinslayerMUD (www.kinslayermud.org), the Wheel of Time based RPG I've been working on for some time.

So let's see,

Right now I'm working on the channeler's system, and have decided that in order for the "magic" system of the game to be any good, I'd have to completely eliminate the stock magic system.

I'm also doing the skills completely over, since they were closely tied in with the Kinslayer game-spells. I don't intend to change much game-functionality as far as they go, though.

The Kinslayer game server was also upgraded yesterday to insure the game's stability. There are still a few bugs to weed out, so I've had it running under Valgrind to try to get rid of those.

Next, I intend to implement an in-game auction house for the players of Kinslayer to log in and put their in-game items up for auction for in-game money. They'd be able to set the prices, and such. Hopefully I have the time.

Also considering adding an additional domain name alongside of www.kinslayermud.org . Not sure what though.
